Hiding the real-world environment

Large simulators include a "Background" mode that can be activated or deactivated at will. The background completely hides the user's real-world environment. This feature is particularly helpful in the following cases:

• The simulator is larger than the room in which it is used.

• The real environment is very crowded.

• Other students practicing nearby are disturbing the user's visual field.
